Lights, Water, Conglomerate (2010-)
The word waterfall only means a condition of water, thus there is no concrete entity of a waterfall itself.
In the late fall in 2010, my unintentional visit to Tōno, the heart of Tōhoku region, brought me encounters with numerous waterfalls.
Looking over the mountains vaguely illuminated in the afterglow, I hear nothing but the babbling of a clear stream, which is the source of Sarugaishi river.
It is said Tōno basin once was an ancient lake. Gushing out among cretaceous rocks of the monadnock, water is silently flowing into the bottom the invisible lake.
Lured by inaudible voices still echo in the forests, my journey to Hayachine continues.
