Indiana University has announced the following protocol in accordance with the CDC’s recommendations for mitigating the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus.
Due to these newly announced travel restrictions, Takashi Arai’s visit has been postponed until further notice.

Indiana University has been closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) to plan and prepare for a potential outbreak.
Public Safety and Institutional Assurance has been leading the strategy and preparations associated with contingency planning, meeting with partners across the university, and coordinating with local and state health departments and hospitals since early January.
Anyone traveling to a country with a CDC level 2 or 3 travel alert will be required to self-quarantine off campus for a period of 14 days before returning to Indiana University. Currently, those countries include:
